Recipes To Aid Nausea With Pregnancy

Here are some easy recipes that you can use if you have been experiencing nausea during your pregnancy! They are energy and nutrient rich recipes with some nausea-friendly ingredients like ginger and bananas. These smoothies will help you with both hydration and electrolytes, if you’ve been vomiting, as well as nutrients like Vitamin B6 and Magnesium which may help reduce nausea!

STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 medium Banana
  2. 7-8 Strawberries or as per taste
  3. 1 Tsp Chia Seeds
  4. 1/2-1 Tsp Grated Ginger
  5. 1/2 Cup Yoghurt
  6. 1/4 Cup Oats
  7. 1-2 Dates for added sweetness (optional)
  8. Ice/Water as needed to adjust consistency

Directions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a mixer and blend
  2. Serve cold

MANGO PAPAYA SMOOTHIE 

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/4 Cup Cubed Papaya
  2. 1/4 Cup Cubed Mango
  3. 1/2 Cup Milk/Yoghurt
  4. 1 Tbsp Almond Butter
  5. 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  6. 1/2-1 Scoop Protein Powder (optional)
  7. Ice/Water as needed to adjust consistency 

Directions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a mixer and blend
  2. Serve cold

STRAWBERRY COCONUT SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2 Cup Strawberries
  2. 1/2 Banana
  3. 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  4. 1/2 Cup Milk/Yoghurt
  5. 1/2 Tbsp Shredded Coconut
  6. 1/2-1 Scoop Protein Powder (optional)
  7. Ice/Water as needed to adjust consistency

Directions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a mixer and blend
  2. Serve cold
